Isuru Pamuditha

I am Isuru Pamuditha a Teaching Assistant working at the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya. My main interests are in the fields of Signal Processing, Bio-medical Engineering Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at University of Peradeniya in March 2023. Apart from research, I am also interested in competitive programming, reading books, formula 1, public speaking, and playing the guitar.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to be advised by many fantastic researchers. For my final year research project, I worked with Prof. Roshan Godaliyadda, Prof. Parakrama Ekanayake, and Dr. Janaka Wijayakulasooriya from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya and Prof. Chatura Rathnayake from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. Fetal movement monitoring using a multi-sensor approach & Experimenting with the feature extration alongside a prediction component using Utering Contraction recordings have been the primary focus for the past few months. During my internship at Zone 24x7, I had the privilege of working directly under the supervision of Dr. Gerard Fernando in building a set of monitoring tools for Linux based systems.
